Anyone heard of STRYD FAIN in Anglesey??

There is a Llanfihangel in Anglesey but, as it means 'The Church of St. Michael', there are many with that name in Wales. Llanfihangel Genaur Glyn, is close to Llanfihangel y Creuddyn in Cardiganshire just as an example.

Yep - only Llanfihangel  I know much about is Glyn Myfyr and there was a tan y graig within shouting distance.

One of my greats lived in a tan y coed and there are lots of them

There is a William Roberts at Tan y Graig, Llanfechell, in 1841 with a wife Elin.

In 1861 Elizabeth and Benjmin's ages seem be be 10 years out. Here, she gives her birth place as Llanerchymedd, which ties in with Narrow Street, six miles from Llanfechell.

I can't see a baptism though. Some of the children of William and Elinor's are non-conformist.

But Elizabeth had died between 1851-57.
Benjamin married a elizabeth Griffith in 1857.As a widower.
I feel i am nearly there with these. Although there are numerous death revords for a eliz owen between 1851-57 The Adresses do not match! So im stuck there.
Benjamin! Again i can find no concrete baptism. all i know is he states born Llangefni (father RICHARD OWEN)

He may not be the right William Roberts but, in 1851, still at Tanygraig, he gave his birth as Llanfflewin, near LLanfechell, in 1773. There was a William Roberts baptised in Llanfechell on 9th April 1773, son of Richard and Catherine.
