Devon Online Parish Clerks - free assistance

would you please have a look for any records you may have for a james greer born plymouth stonehouse 1818 to thomas greer and ann ?
also would be interested transcribing any records of same. although i live in wrexham north wales

He wasn't baptised at East Stonehouse as far as I can tell. Where have you located him? Have you seen a marriage certificate or census?

thank you for the reply.
from the national archives i found james greer signing up to the 64th regiment of foot in 1832. he gives his age as 14 years 9 months "it says under age
he gives his place of birth as stonehouse plymouth.
also 1851 census find my past -living at 5 rush grove ann street woolwich st marys greenwich kent.
has james as born 1817 age 34. army artillery driver birth town plymouth stone house.
i know his brother john was born in ireland dublin 1813.
from ancestry -married in 1846 19th october james greer and elizabeth wilson. parish of woolwich father given as thomas greer.
if his father was in the royal artillery could they possibly be some barracks records.

I wonder if the family was Roman Catholic? He also may have been baptised in a military chapel. I only can access Church of England and some non-conformist records. Sorry to not be able to help.
