Wow!

maddys52 and amondg are hammering this search with great detail.

There's enough good information now for Branching out to have a really good chance of getting at least one line back to the 1600s.

Norfolk is one of my favourite counties to track ancestors in - there are lots of online records and register images - and Rootschatters to help as needed.  :)

Probable baptism for Martha:
27 Dec 1798 at All Saints, Weybourne, parents John SWALLOW and Martha (nee HALL)
(from FreeReg)
Modified to add:
John SWALLOW (widower) married Martha HALL (widow) at All Saints Weybourne 3 October 1797, both of Weybourne. Witnesses: Henry SANDFORD and Ann CRANEFIELD.

I'm wary of thinking Martha HALL (widow) was nee HALL.  This could be her husband's surname.  I'll see if I can identify a marriage for Martha to a Mr Hall and a death for Mr Hall prior to 1797 - just in case!

Philip

ADDED - there is a possible:
Weybourne All Saints marriage 2 April 1783 Edward HALL (widower) to Martha HARDY (spinster).  Witnesses John Swallow and Mary Stimson.
Weybourne All Saints burial 25 January 1797 Edward HALL.
I can't guarantee it's the same Edward, but I couldn't see a burial for Martha Hall in or near Weybourne, so it's a possibility - especially with the name John Swallow as marriage witness.

Hi.  According to information given 20 years ago by one of the Canadian Ladell family, Naomi LAMBERT was born 18 November 1836 in Lobo, Ontario.  She married Alfred Charles LADELL in 1862 at Middlesex Co. Ontario.  She died 31 January 1928 in Forest, Ontario.   I have 7 recorded children for this couple including a pair of twins that died soon after birth.

I have Norfolk  LADELL family back to early 1700's.  Regards
Ladell,   Travess,
