Falmouth RAF WW2
« on: Friday 07 September 18 22:52 BST (UK) »
Does anyone know what the RAF were doing in Falmouth during WW2. My relative was based there, but we don't know what he was doing. He never went overseas and spent some time at RAF Cosford. Any ideas welcome,  Carolmc

An RAF Air Sea Rescue unit was based there. Cosford specialised in technical training such as Radio so possible connection there. Have you applied for his service record? Lots of information available on ASR units based at Falmouth if you Google.
