Charles Julius Brandt b. 1814/15 Prussia

Charles Brandt married Eleanor Bell from Durham.  He was a master mariner.
I have his death registration in Falmouth Cornwall on Page 35 of Burials in the Parish of Falmouth, dated 12 October 1884.  He was 70 years old.
I wanted to order the death cert. from GRO but cannot find it on their webpage.  Reason being perhaps it has been transcribed wrongly.
I wondered if anyone has information on his parents and/or information about him.

Census has him as a Naturalised British Citizen so there must be a paper trail for that.

Do you have the 1850 M/C?
It will have his Fathers name/occp.

Masters Cert has him born 12 July 1814 Marion..? in Prussia.
Naturalised May 12 1845, residing in Sutherland

Marriage Transcript on Anc has his Father as Charles Frederick Brandt, no image for Fathers occp.

He was 70 when he died in 1884 so was born around 1814

Can you clarify the dates given for Masters cert birthdate and naturalisation?    Should birthyear be 1815?

Have his masters cert. I couldn't see father's name, so many thanks.  That is very helpful.
Yes, born 1814 - I have 28th July 1814.  Could be some difference on documents.  Wonder why I can't find the naturalised papers.  Seems odd.
