Burial of Thomas STEPHENSON around the 3rd q 1905 Leicester
« on: Monday 10 September 18 09:06 BST (UK) »
Thomas STEPHENSON's death was registered in the 3rd quarter 1905 at Leicester. Thomas was baptised in 1837 At St Mary's Leicester.

I am wondering if this Thomas STEPHENSON is the husband of Ann GARNER.  Thomas was a baker.

Volume: 7A; Page: 91

I am hoping if anyone has access to the burial records it may state he was a Baker.

Hello Milliepede,

Agree and the other thing that is off is the lack of a middle name.  I noticed through the census records Thomas maths left a lot to be desired and so I wondered if the burial gave occupational information.

You have got the wrong baptism!

According to all the census Thomas (married to Ann Garner) was bc.1841/2 and is the Thomas Stephenson who's birth was registered June 1841 Leicester - he was the son of Henry Stephenson (Baker) and Keziah Cox who married 24/6/1834 Leicester.

Thomas and Ann's marriage 26/1/1862 confirms his father is Henry.

I would say the 1905 death is him but burial records only show name, age, Abode (normally just the place rather than full address).
