If spmeones occupation is described as a farewomen what would she be doing?

Where did the reference come from?

(age, era, location?)

There are three people in the 1881 census with the occupation shown as "Farewoman"
Looking at the 1911 census all the 32 Farewomen there appear to be mistranscriptions  of "Forewoman"

Thanks for your replies. I am looking at 1881 census piece 356 Folio 68 page 6. Louisa Orton snd her sister Emily both occupations as farewomen ?
