Troddell Crook, Wetheral Parish
« on: Thursday 13 September 18 23:27 BST (UK) »
Has anyone heard of this place ?
It was a freehold devised to one of my ancestors in an 1824 will.

Thanks, Cazza47 - I'll be pleased to have any info.
Especially as I'm still trying to discover exactly what/where/how big his estate at Froddle Crook was - the only info I have so far is that it was Freehold intermixed with Leasehold and Copyhold.

https://archiveweb.cumbria.gov.uk/CalmView/Record.aspx?src=CalmView.Catalog&id=PROB%2f1838%2fW112&pos=6      There are around 12 items here for Froddle Crook in the CASCAT search  https://archiveweb.cumbria.gov.uk/CalmView/Overview.aspx         If u reply, I shall keep my eyes open on the Graham/Wetheral archives for you.  the item here is probably not the real will, but a clerks full copy, attatched to the letter of Administration
