Alfred Flint b Feb 1881 Hochelaga, Quebec

The above was the son of Alfred Tennyson Flint and Charlotte Bowers nee Clarke. Some how or another the couple got married in 1888 Montréal, Quebec, both were b 1861 & 1862 in Louth, Lincolnshire  and I can't find a travel record for them to go to Canada? They appear on the 1891 Canada census with Albert and his 2 siblings in St Gabriel Ward, Hochelaga.
By 1901 the family except Alfred are at 57, Ainslie Street, Great Grimsby, Grimsby and eventually passed away there.
Did Alfred pass away in Canada or stay there?
