My grandparents and Chn migrated to Australia in 1951.

Mistake re birth of Jessie Doig BEATON?  Born 1887 I think

She’s on an 1891 census st Andrews Dundee.  Is her father not there? 

Added, I see on indexes that he is. A bit of a variation in ages different censuses.  (Dob 1843 - 1851 ish ). But consistent as to birth place.  You will need to buy the images from Scotland’s people.

Possible death for him on Scotland’s people in 1940 (st Andrews/Dundee)?

Eldest son, Alexander Watson Beaton, of Francis Beaton apparently born FRANCE. Wonder why they were there.

Francis and Isabella married 1873, St Clement.  Their marriage cert will have their ages and  parents names on.
