When a family was interred during WW2 in Holland would there be any records on this.

Well here on the Isle of Man there were Internment Camps.
Some were like Army Camps ( lots of wooden huts); others were whole terraces of former hotels/Guest houses/houses requisitioned by the Government of the time.

In the Netherlands, many were simply concentration camps.

I would try www.wiewaswie.nl/en in the first place.

As you mentioned "a family", could you elaborate on the probable reason of their intement eg Jewish, Jehova's witnesses etc.
