have you seen    http://titheapplotmentbooks.nationalarchives.ie/search/tab/results.jsp?surname=considine&firstname=&county=Clare&parish=tulla&townland=&search=Search

Surname   Forename   Townland/Street   Parish   County   Year
Considine   Jno   Affick            Tulla   Clare   1826
Considine   Patt   Attagh            Tulla   Clare   1826
Considine   Jno   Affick            Tulla   Clare   1826
Considine   Jno   Fomerla                 Tulla   Clare   1826
Considine   Michl   Knockbally and Knockbally   Tulla   Clare   1826
Considine   Patt   Tyredagh Upper              Tulla   Clare   1826

it’s a simple one line entry that normally doesn’t give any relationship s you might get a map

The only Greffey/Griffey I could find in same source but in the whole of the County are
Griffey   John   Derranas Ha           Clooney, Doora & Quin   Clare   1825
Griffey   Pat   Knockanane West   Clooney, Doora & Quin   Clare   1825
Griffey   Patrick   Knockanira   Killone   Clare
good luck in your quest

Transcriber/Donator:   Sheila Duddy
Transcriber Notes:
This was a difficult transcription. There will be a large number of mistakes. Confusion between Cooney, Corry, Connors, Conway, Connell and various other names beginning with “C”. Researchers will need to take that into account. Hard to distinguish between Halloran and Hallinan. I think the priest also made guesses, especially as to first names.
The index for 1846-1862 (page 105) – plus the information the index-maker gives on variants of surnames – helped a lot. This time his index numbers and entry numbers diverge more and more as the years go by. This is mainly because the transcriber makes an entry each for twins.
Most of the records from 1862-1881 can be checked against the births registered in Tulla registration district (from 1864) on http://www.irishgenealogy.ie but, except in a few cases, transcriber hasn't done this.

Re: Considine family
« Reply #5 on: Saturday 04 May 19 08:37 BST (UK) »

Hi,

Have just started researching John Considine.  I think he may have been my great great grandfather.  I only have limited family info.  I was told that his parents were Michael Patrick And Catherine Considine from County Clare.  Apparently John was born in 1838 and died in 1890 (52 years old). We think he came to Australia around 1862.  But I have no idea of the name of the boat.

Johns first marriage was to Mary Cunningham (also from County Clare).  Mary was born 1938 or 1939.  Mary died 1870 (31 years old).  Don't know if they had children.

Johns second marriage was to Anne Leary in 1871. Their son Henry was my great grandfather.  Henry was born in 1874 or 1875 in Ballarat Victoria.  Henry married Elizabeth Dooley.  I can give you names of their 6 children if you want them. Henry died in April 1932.

I haven't gotten any records to substantiate this yet, its just family history that has been passed on.

Do you have any specific info on when John came to Australia, i.e. year and name of boat ?

i suggest you start backwards from the first fact i found
Fact see https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FLJT-R22
John H Considine   Burial   01 Jan 1890   Sydney, New South Wales, Australia   Ballarat   age 52      Ann Considine
Ballarat is a city located on the Yarrowee River in the Central Highlands of Victoria, Australia. source wikipedia

if  John arrived in Ballarat Victoria he should have other records eg
Victoria
1839-1871 - Index to Assisted British Immigration 1839-1871
1839-1923 - Australia, Victoria, Inward Passenger Lists, 1839-1923
at FamilySearch — index and images

however on ancestry.com.au has heading All Victoria, Australia, Assisted and Unassisted Passenger Lists, 1839-1923 results for John Considine it has one record for a John Considine no further clues unless his name is spelt John Constantine both entries say arrival port Melbourne then I changed the date search from 1860 = or – 5 to 1860 =or- 2 , it said no record
which suggests after 1862 or before 1858  you would need to join  or it’s the wrong John

alternatively others  have found Australian migrants on the Travel and Migration
section of findmypast

Re: Considine family
« Reply #7 on: Sunday 05 May 19 23:37 BST (UK) »

Thanks for the tips.

Find my past has been useful.  Have already needed to amend some dates etc.

John Considine b1830 (although I think he was really born in 1828 or 1929, I found a photograph of a family headstone which states he was 62yo at time of death in 1890 Ballarat.  Headstone states that they were natives of Tulla County Clare).

Mary Considine (Cunningham) died 26/03/1870 according to headstone.

John and Mary Cunningham had at least 3 children.
Henry Considine b1864 registered as (Constine) Ballarat  d /04/1932
John Considine b1869 Ballarat  d 03/06/1869 5 months old on headstone
Patrick Considine b1870 Ballarat  d 30/05/1870 12 months old on headstone

John remarried in 1871 to Anne Leary.
So far have only found 1 child.  Edward Considine (registered as Constandine) B1872 Ballarat.

John and Mary may have had additional children.  It is thought that 1 or 2 girls ended up in a children's poorhouse.  Sarah Considine b1863 d 1894 ?I haven't found anything to substantiate this yet.

Thanks agin for your help.  Will keep plugging away for a while..........

recap
1826 Tithe Applotment Books
The Tulla Considine listed in http://titheapplotmentbooks.nationalarchives.ie/search/tab/results.jsp?surname=considine&firstname=&county=Clare&parish=tulla&townland=&search=Search
arranged by townland in Tulla

Jno   Considine   Affick            Tulla   Clare   1826
Patt   Considine   Attagh            Tulla   Clare   1826
Jno   Considine   Fomerla         Tulla   Clare   1826
Michl   Considine   Knockbally and Knockbally   Tulla   Clare   1826
Patt   Considine   Tyredagh Upper      Tulla   Clare   1826
At best  5 households at worst 3 households, reduced to two in ~29 years by the time of
its highly likely one of the above is the father of  your John Considine   b1818-30
[1855 Griffiths Valuation http://www.askaboutireland.ie/griffith-valuation/index
John Considine  map ref 38 in Affick townland
Patrick Considine  map ref 5 in Tyredagh Upper townland]

Attempt 1 ignoring the possibility his name could have been Michael Patrick known as Patrick, or Patrick Michael known as Michael to his friends etc I am concentrating on the only Michl / Michael/Micheal listed in Knockbally  he is finadable under Michl in http://titheapplotmentbooks.nationalarchives.ie/reels/tab//004625727/004625727_00582.pdf
The townland entry reads Craganecreen and Knockballyore
his acreage 1 acre 1 rood of 2nd quality 3 acrers 3 roods of 3rd quality
total 5 acres he is to pay 3 shillings 7and a half pence
that spelling Craganecreen and Knockballyore
Craganecreen I think is nowdays  Craggaunkeel
Knockballyore  seeking as part of Craggaunkeel
http://www.clarelibrary.ie/eolas/coclare/places/tulla_townlands.htm
enlarge the map
Townland 68 Tyredagh Upper is on the west border of the parish. next west is Affick
Townland 18 Craggaunkeel is surrounded by51 Lecarrow North to the north, 64 Rosslara and 35 Fortane More to to the east and eastern border of parish 58 Lismeehan alias Maryfort Townland to the south and 19 Cragroe to the west
I searched  logiainm https://www.logainm.ie/en/ unsucessfully
I searched https://churchrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/ unsucessfully
So there are no clues as to where Knockballyore   is to be  found by me.
cant help more
I think you need to be on a Clare board and more help anyway
good luck
