It's listed in the form as a prison but it doesn't actually seem to be.

In the 1911 census it actually shows the nuns house as good sheppard convent.
The 1901 list of the children is St Finbars industrial school for girls.

There are other mother and baby homes in Cork city
Thank you for your help cannot locate  any entries for younger children they may have been in a different location maybe a nursery. Rgds
