Does anyone know anything about a Robert Archibald Griffiths (known as Archie to his family) born in 1881 possibly Holyhead Anglesey or Bangor Caernarfonshire as he lived in the Garth area of Bangor at some time , he was a seaman by trade and had a son John Hugh known as Jackie 1915- 1938 who was drowned in a boating accident. Specifically when and were he died and were he is buried.

I had a brother named Arthur who was known by everyone as Archie. He was first called Archie while we lived in Bangor.

In case you haven't seen it, there is a marriage on 29 Mar 1911 at St Cybi's Holyhead between Robert Arthur Griffith, 30, sailor of 32 Upper Garth Road, Bangor, son of John Griffith, sailor (deceased) and Mary Grace Hughes, 27 of 25 Cross St. Holyhead, dau of John William Hughes, sailor (deceased).

The baptismal record referred to by despair has John Hugh Griffith's mother as Mary Price Griffiths.
