Martha Brown Henry death info
« on: Wednesday 26 September 18 22:01 BST (UK) »
I am searching for a death record for Martha Brown Henry, my gr. gr. gr. grandmother born abt. 1838 near Glasgow, Scotland.

Family lore says she died as the result of childbirth. The last of her seven children, son Alexander was born 27 April 1875 • Tyanee, Magherafelt Parish, Londonderry. So I am assuming she died sometime after that date in Derry.

Her husband Jameson Henry remarried as a "widower" 16 November 1880 • Ballymoney to Nancy Getty and they had several more children.

If anybody can help me find a death record for Martha Henry (abt. 37+ years old) probably in Derry, between 1875 and 1880, I would be very grateful.

Thank you,
Debbie

Have you looked for a death in Scotland? if she was ill perhaps went home to be looked after by family or went home for visit and took ill there
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
