Marsh mill (henley on thames oxfordshire ) england

I have an ancestor ( thomas cooper )that worked at the marsh mill at henley on thames, i can understand its a water mill and have seen some pictures,  but i dont  know much about it, can any  one inform me a little more. the family seemed to live on marsh pound ( i take it this would be near the mill as it has a similar name. )

1841- 1861
