W.A. Electoral Rolls, a quick question

This may be a silly question, but I don't know how dates ran for these records.
My great, great uncle was murdered in Jandakot in August 1911.  Is it possible that he would still be on the Electoral Roll for 1912?  The place and occupation both fit so I would be surprised if it was not the same man!

Samuel WEEDON is not a common name.
Unless one of his four sons also had that name, residence and occupation, I would have to agree, his name had not been removed from the roll after the September inquiry.

I worked on the polls in the 1980s, 1990s & people still came in and asked if "abc" was still on the rolls as he died last year. Often times that person was still there. We used to annotate the paper record & it would be checked later by the returning officer.

I think today, there is much more matching with registry death records, but back in 1911, not so much.

Thank you both, and good detective work, Sue - though I suppose there weren't too many murders in Jandakot in August 1911 None of Sam's sons lived in Jandakot or worked as gardeners.  His ex-brother in law was supposed to be the murderer, but there was not enough evidence to arrest him.
I can't see an entry for him after 1912 so by the next count, his death must have been recorded.
