John Beaney c1730-1745
« on: Saturday 29 September 18 01:57 BST (UK) »
Hi

I hope someone here can help me locate the christening of my ancestor John Beaney.

John married Susanna Gallant in about November 1765 in Eastling, Kent. Their son, John, was christened on 28 December 1766 in Eastling

So far I have been unable to locate a christening for John snr and I am hoping that someone here can help. Is anyone able to check for a christening of John Beaney (other spellings include Beney and Beany) between about 1730 and 1746 in Eastling or the surrounding area?

I have located a John Beaney/Beney christened in Eastling in 1710 who could well be a relation. He could also be the John Beaney who married Susanna of course.

Many thanks in advance

Matt

There was a John Beaney baptised 15 February 1740 to John & Mary at Staple - not that close to Eastling though.
