daughter Martha married Thomas Charles FORTNUM 13 Sept 1892  (may be Fortman)
She gave her father as Robert Alexander THOMPSON a Smith

(but of course that might just be because she knew that was the brother's name)


William Henry married 7 June 1893 to Elizabeth Ann Dearden MITCHELL
He said father was Robert THOMPSON, boiler maker

James THOMPSON the joiner of Birkenhead married Eliza WOOD in 1839 Wirral reg.
Lots of children. No Robert and No Emily :(

he was born abt 1818, Wavertree, lancashire and was alive (widower) at the 1861 census

Death of Eliza 20 Jan 1861 at 7 Clifton Terrace, wife of James THOMPSON builder of Birkenhead
Liverpool Mercury 26 January 1861

and James died 'suddenly' same address 12 August 1866 -  Liverpool Mercury 14 August 1866
