Hello again, I've just looked at 1871 census and there's an Elizabeth northey aged 40, living with her father who's clerk of lime quarry. There's a birth for an Elizabeth to John northey and jane Doidge. So there is two Elizabeth's born to two John northeys, but obviously the one in the 1871 census isn't mine as she was married to George blake years before! Where I'm now puzzled is the fact that the one (mine) was Elizabeth Doidge northey but her mother wasn't Jane Doidge. Think I need a glass of red!!!!
