Probate records suggest that George Kidman of Kelsale (aka Kelsall) was executor of the will of his father, also George Kidman, in 1848.

That must be him.  His father’s occupation is Steward [something] of Ireland.

Could understand Ireland but not much else, bit out on census regarding age, possibly baptised late

Various family trees on Ancestry suggest Sarah Kidman aged 77 on 1851 was nee Whitehead, also  shows George born circa 1818 died in Australia 1958, so Cupcake you might be right, perhaps she used the name Mary, she was Elizabeth Mary at marriage

Not too sure about them. I am thinking George marrying in 1848 and being around 22/25yrs when he married- may have been born around 1823/1825.

I am thinking George marrying in 1848 and being around 22/25yrs when he married- may have been born around 1823/1825.

But we have already seen that he is recorded as aged 33 in the 1851 census.

Further children were born in Australia: Charles Nunn Kidman, Sidney Kidman, Sackville Kidman.

Parents: George & Elizabeth Mary.
