I wonder if the person who typed it up mis read the original which would have been hand written and the 13/8/1927 should have read 13/9/1927

It looks like a clerical error either the previous birth was recorded on the 12th or 13/8/1927 and that date was simply carried over in preparation for the next or more likely as mentioned the month of registration was filled in as 8 rather than 9.

Oooh nice to meet you Guy - I have photos of headstones for St James - Benwell - Newcastle and a couple of older graveyards in Haydon Bridge - Hexham - but no written transcripts - if any use to you . . .

Regards Indiana . . .

Thanks Indiana, that is a generous offer.
I tried to PM you with my email &  address but seem to be blocked.
Cheers
Guy

Aha - I will find you later and message you with my e-mail - cheers , , ,

Was it always Friday?
Where did you find the market picture, Indiana? I don't like the look of the horse in the foreground. Seems to have been rubbing itself against the ends of the cart-shafts.

Well - apart from also looking a bit lean - I found it on e-bay going for a tenner if you are into that kind of thing - old postcards of Galway - regards . . .
