Hi all,

I am hoping that now I think I have tracked down where my cousin is buried that somone will be able to tell me more.

The grave I have found is for a

Eamon McMullen - 1919 - 2001 Charnwood Lodge Annan Road Dumfries.

Burial Date 28 Jun 2001 Dumfries High Cemetery. Dumfries-shire, Scotland.  Section K Lair No 265.

I was wondering if it lists his parents or where this Eamon was originally from ?

As my cousin left Northern Ireland and never came back.

Thanks for all your kind help

Kieran

I hope someone will be able to assist in locating the grave although there may not be a headstone?

I noted on the SP Index his mms was missing which may be a clue to a friend/neighbour/hospital staff/home staff recording his death rather than a family member sadly?

Death cert. can be ordered on SP site (scotlandspeople.gov.uk) for £12 via credits but it may be better ordering by phone (0131 314 4411)?

This will show who registered the death & may even give an address (of the informant)?

I think Eamon may have died in a Carehome?  :(

I should pay more attention!

I just googled Charnwood Lodge only to find out it's a carehome.

How nice to see it with 'Lodge' rather the 'Carehome' attached.

Hi Annie,
Thank you so much for al your help.  I have contacted the care home to see if they can confirm any details for me like if he came from Ireland date of birth etc

This would help me rule him in or out.

Thanks again for all your help it is very much appreciated
