« on: Wednesday 03 October 18 15:50 BST (UK) »
I can find no marriage for James and Elizabeth  even though birth records have mmn Strange,

1861 Wrexham . All born Wrexham
James Slawson  27 sergeant in Denbighshire Militia,
 Elizabeth Slawson  32
 Martha A Slawson  8
 William M Slawson  7
Edward T Slawson  5  mmn Strange
 George Slawson  3  mmn Strange

In 1880 Wrexham James Slawson married Sarah Ann Pountney in St Giles, ,  I`m pretty sure this is the same James,  but don`t have the image to check details.

George can be found in 1891,with family and father in law,Thomas Meredith,as a house painter in Wrexham(RG12/4618/128/8).He remains a house painter there in 1901 and 1911,though he is listed as Gleason in 1901 in one database. Can’t immediately see him in 1881.

Regards
Roger
