George and Tabitha Aris,Michigan US.

Hello can anyone help?.
George Aris married my cousin Tabitha Preston 1877 Meriden Warwickshire England.
He had relatives in Leeper Michigan Lucas family.
Appears on the census there in 1881 as their nephew says he is widower.
One child Mary Harriet Lizzie born in Meriden England 1880.
Family also appear on England census 1881 in Tanworth in Arden Warwickshire George(farmer).
However David Aris born 14th December 1887 St Clair Port Huron Michigan.
Father George Aris mother Tabitha.
So there is my brick wall no death for Tabitha or Mary England or Michigan not on census
Us or Michigan 1891.
George married again abt 1906 Minnie? he died Michigan 1915.
George born Northampton England 1841.
I would be grateful for any clues as to what happened to Tabitha and Mary.

Unfortunately most of the 1890 census was destroyed by fire and only fragments remain.
Fragments of the US census population schedule exist only for the states of Alabama, District of Columbia, Georgia, Illinois, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, South Dakota, and Texas.

Is this the same one.....................or were there two 

Looking at the FIND A GRAVE entry for George Aris 1842 - 20 September 1915
It says....George is found in the US 1870 census of Royal Oak Twp., Michigan. He was a farm labourer. His wife was Harriett E. Lewless, their son was Henry L. All were born in Michigan. 
(Henry was the informant on the death certificate for George.)

Note that the US census is done on the -0 years, rather than -1 years.

A marriage of George "Ans" to Harriet Lewles - Oakland Michigan 16 October 1864 - which seems to fit the couple on that 1870 census.
