Just watched the final episode on BBC I-player - an extremely enjoyable series

Grandfather Alan was very impressed by his ancestors and, at the end, even Ainslie had a tear or too!

And the stars of the show - the three girls

I'm happy that everyone here and I have enjoyed the series. There were some great stories that brought to life what life would have been like for our ancestors.

The only negative point I had was the constant use of using ancestor and relative interchangeably when talking about 'their famous ancestor' who was actually a ?x Great Uncle (I won't mention his name in case anyone hasn't seen the last episode).

However, overall, it was a great watch.  :)
