I have recently found my grandfather may have had a sister/ Step sister

He was born born in Cardiff Feb 1901

Arthur Richard guy maunder

She was born

1898 Eva Emily guy maunder


Both to a richard maunder ( married at the time to a clara )

After a court case for neglect 1903 she was taken from the parents and put into the workhouse or dr barnardo's ??

At the moment I can only see the parents with numerous children, but not including Arthur, on the 1911. We aren't allowed to give details of that census.

Do you have the family in 1901. I may have not searched correctly or they're mistranscribed.

You won't find Arthur he is on the 1901 but as a boarder at 1 month old

But ad I have the birth certificate for him it states Richard maunder ( father) Emily ( maunder ) formerly guy ( mother
But I know Richard a lime worker was already married to a Clara
Richard and Emily weren't married  bit have him a birth record ( which was not completely accurate

So was eva Emily a similar scenario

I've found an Eva Guy, aged 3 on the 1901 in Barry.

However, she is listed as the daughter of a William Alfred and Louisa Guy.  Could they be relatives of Emily?

Hi in 1901 she's living with Otto berg and Elizabeth berg in Cardiff

Further to the marriage details, there is a Hockin/ birth in 1922 in Cardiff with mmn as Guy but she might be still alive so can't post full details.
