GREAT NEWS re CHURCH OF IRELAND REGISTERS
« on: Friday 05 October 18 21:44 BST (UK) »
I just received the following notice in an email from UK Free Genealogy!

https://www.irishgenealogynews.com/2018/09/church-of-ireland-parish-registers-to.html

Woohoo - hope I live long enough to maybe finally find out who my 2 Irish 4x great grandmothers are!

That's really hopeful news.

Fingers crossed that the records I have been looking for are amongst them as I've been feeling curiously guilty that I haven't managed to get my children's paternal line further back than an 1841 Welsh census.

Just remember that lots of COI registers were lost in Four Courts, Dublin in 1922 so there will be gaps in what is available.

See here to check for a particular church- LINK
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
