John Parker - Bristol cabinetmaker
« on: Monday 08 October 18 13:57 BST (UK) »
Hi everyone,

I know this might be a long shot but I'm wondering if anyone knows if there are any historic images/sketches of Old King Street in Bristol floating around.
I'm looking specifically for the cabinetmaker/upholsterer John Parker who operated a store at No. 1 Old King Street near Broadmead during the 1830's.

Parker, John
Bristol;cabinet maker and chairmaker(1799–1840)
From 1799–1813 described as ‘Windsor & Fancy Chair Maker’. At Old King St, 1799–1837, the number being 1 in 1807–09. In the period 1838–40 at 23 Upper Maudlin St.

Kind regards,
Lee

Bristol Archives on line - have at least two or three photographs which can be viewed of Old King Street.  A similar photo to the attached - says the number of the shops are 9, 11 and 13 - and you can click on the map symbol which shows the place of the shops.
