Edmund Albutt

Hello,
I am researching my 2nd G. Grandfather Edmund Albutt.
He was born in 1834 in Bromsgrove.
He married a Harriet Knight in 1860 and had 5 children including Edwin my G.Grandfather.
I can find him in the 1871,1881,1891,1901,1911 with Harriet and his children.
He was a farmer at Hop Gardens and there are numerous Kelly's trade directories up until 1900.
However I can find no records of him before 1871 other than a possible baptism record of him in 1834, to parents John and Mary Albutt.
He died in 1915 in Bromsgrove.

In 1861 he is indexed on Ancestry as Edmund ALBERTT* 26 with Harriett 25 and Fanny 7mo - in Stoke Prior. RG9/2115/68/2.

*But the underlying enumerator's summary sheet says ALBUTT.

In 1851 he is in service as a farm labourer in Stoke Prior, as Edward ABBOTT, 15 b Stoke Prior.

HO107/2047/40/10.

Looks like a match despite slightly differing information, which often happened where people were in service and the boss/householder was possibly a bit hazy about their precise details.

I started my family history back in 2003, and recently picked it back up again!
Totally engrossed in it now.
I'm in Wales, but found most of my ancestors are this way in England!

In 1851 I think his parents etc are transcribed as Allbutt as living in Stoke Prior and all but his grandchildren born there
