Thank you minniehaha for those extra bits of the puzzle.
Re your notes, Janette, for which many thanks, I knew that Percival & Doris sailed to NZ without their children but have not discovered what happened to them. Flixton is indeed the place but Philip is new. You mention 3 passengers 327, 328 & 329 so this suggests another brother but I do not have access to your string so that will have to wait for now.
The memorial to Percival & Doris shows Michael & Derek only so if there was indeed another brother - Philip- perhaps he had died before 1979,

Hi Toby .... just to clarify for you ... if you go back to Reply # 8 here, and click on the blue highlighted link (to familysearch), you'll find the passenger list spoken of.

I've removed the full name of  P......   above - he appears to be the son of Derek [rather than "another brother"] and very possibly he is still living.  ???   ???   And because no deaths in NZ for Derek and his wife are to be found on the NZ Death Index online, it's probable they too may still be alive, in which case their privacy needs to be respected.  :)

I will send you a PM with some additional information.
