« on: Thursday 11 October 18 14:33 BST (UK) »
My Grandmother was Elizabeth Baker and she was born in the Mill at Oundel. She lived in Barnwell with her mother.

My grandmother was Elizabeth Baker. Her mother was Mary Elizabeth Baker nee Travis from Gillingham Kent.
Mary Elizabeth Travis married John Baker from Oundel Mill
They had two children John and Kathleen Baker
John passed away in 1903.
Mary had my grandmother out of wedlock at Barnwell Mill and no father is on the birth certificate. Mary later worked for Barnwell Castle and lived in a house in the village with my Grandmother.

I am wondering if there is any information on who the father may be.
Her daughter Kathleen followed to the Mill and attended school but the son John never did and I am trying to find out what happened to the other two children. Kathleen never married but John? I'd love to see if there are any relatives alive who may have photos or know anything about that family.

My grandparents have passed away sadly. My grandfather always thought her father was John Baker, until I found his death record and it said he passed away in 1903. My grandmother was born in 1918. I was very close to my grandparents and trying to find out what happened and what happened to her siblings Kathleen and John
