Does anyone have a map of Gilrose Cemetery looking for my boyfriend's grandparents surname Oriens looking at doing his family tree

I've just seen your other post.

You should contact the cemeteries dept at the council

https://www.leicester.gov.uk/your-community/births-marriages-and-deaths/funerals-burials-and-cremations/cemeteries/gilroes-cemetery/

If you have the plot number, they should be able to point you in the right direction.

I've found that some cemeteries have a plan or layout of the grounds at the gates.

If you don't have the plot number, still contact the council, but make sure you have their full names and dates of death. They may not have been buried but cremated as that is more common now.

The CD for Gilroes goes up to 1950, and there is no one of that name listed on it.

Looking at freeBMD, there were two marriages in the 1960s to people of that name in the Leicester district, but no other BMDs in Leicester.

Is the event that you’re looking for more recent than that?
