1939 Index Frank and Lottie Griffiths.
« on: Tuesday 16 October 18 16:20 BST (UK) »
Could some kind Rootschatter find these people in 1939 Index (I don't have access). Frank Griffiths born 1877 and Lottie Wilks born 1891. They married in 1919. They were from Forest of Dean. Frank was one of nine, 8 brothers and one sister, including my grandfather. The family today know of all of them except Frank. He seems to have disappeared off the radar in the early 1920's. At the time he was a colliery contractor.

I've put this in England General but they could have moved to Wales or anywhere else in UK. Thank you.

Sorry, I didn't know. They may have to remain an enigma. Thank you for replying.

1920ish, East Dean, Soudley/Bradley Hill area. From what you have kindly found for me, should be no problem tracking them, addresses too.

I have her birth entry somewhere. Still transferring data from paper reseaches on to computer. Same for marriage entry, Westbury on Severn district I think in both cases.

Added: Lottie's father was British born but U.S. citizen.
