It can help to look at the originals of the Census forms.
Hugh and Susan couldn't write so they didn't fill in either.
I think it's clear 1911 was filled in by the enumerator, I think 1901 was as well.
So it's probably safe to say neither Hugh or Susan knew what had been written.
You would expect Frances or Bridget would have filled it in as they could both read and write but it doesn't appear they have.
The question is who gave the enumerator's the information. It may not have been the same person each time.
As Susan doesn't have any number of children listed against her name in 1911 I think that is the correct census and she or Hugh gave the information.
Perhaps Francis or Bridget did in 1901 thinking this would help secure the farm for them.

The James Hatton who died in 1910 - with nephew Francis Dillon present - left a will

https://apps.proni.gov.uk/WillsCalendar_IE/willsSearchResultsDetails.aspx

There is also a Mary Hatton died in 1913 where Francis Dillon was the person granted probate
https://apps.proni.gov.uk/WillsCalendar_IE/willsSearchResultsDetails.aspx

Her death cert - https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/deaths_returns/deaths_1913/05338/4486396.pdf

There is a James Hatton on the 1901 census with one daughter

His daughter Anna (Annie Mary) was born in 1884 to Mary Bird - so is this Bridget's dad and sister?

I think through all of this I am trying to figure out if Hugh Hatton is a brother to Anne Hatton who married Henry Magee on 12th January 1860, where Hugh was a witness with Susan Murphy. Anne was from Mayogall also and born around 1836. I just can't seem to find any records of baptism for either Anne or Hugh.

I have found Francis Dillon's death on 2nd September 1932, and he leaves his money to Bridget Dillon.

I have found Francis Dillon's death on 2nd September 1932, and he leaves his money to Bridget Dillon.

Francis Dillon didn't leave a Will so his widow applied and was granted permission to administer his estate but it would have been divided according to law.
Dillon Francis of Moyagall county Londonderry farmer died 2 September 1932 Administraiton Londonderry 15 September to Bridget Dillon the widow. Effects £38. D.B.N. D.R. 22/12/44
It wasn't completed for some reason and in 1944 James Dillon was appointed administrator-
Dillon Francis of Moyagall Knockloughrim county Londonderry farmer died 2 September 1922 Administration Int. (d.b.n.) Londonderry 22 December to James Dillon farmer. Unadministered effects £38. Former Grant Administration Londonderry D.R. 15 September 1936.
Note one says 1922 and other 1932 (I haven't checked to see which is correct.) The correct date is 1932 and he was age 66 according to GRONI.
