kings lynn itself not outside but exactly where i dont know, when he married he was living at kings street and she was at wyatt street

have you found Ethel in the 1939 register?

I see from the death index she died in 1950 still in Kings Lynn reg district

Ethel was born 1894 - Herbert 1866.  Marriage 1918.  Only one child born to marriage - 1919 Ethel M

Her address in 1939 will help with possible burial of Herbert in 1937

there are lots of redacted entries obscuring road details but seems to be around hillen road  near metcalfe avenue

The most likely is the cemetery at Hardwick Road, the cemetery at Gayton Road opened after his death.
