Thomas Chattam was born on 18th May 1887 at Bridgend, Linlithgow. He was the son of Alexander Chattam and Sarah McGechie.

He was a Lance Corporal in the 11th Btn. Royal Scots (Lothian Regiment) - Service Number 11938 and he was killed in action on 27th September 1915.

His body was never found and he is commemorated on the Loos Memorial, Pas-de-Calais, France.

Thomas was my husband's great uncle.
