This is what I see - if you click on the "fix the issue" link, it takes you to instructions on how to turn on cookies.

Thanks for all that info - I always get that message but have ignored it as it ever seemed to impair my speed of access or my downloads from ancestry.

I was just going to add a snip but this is the same one above. However that fix takes you to instructions to change things to allow all cookies and that is not what I want to do, I want to continue to block third part cookies. If I allow all cookies then the banner goes away. I am sure this is down to Ancestry
Thanks again for helping everyone!

I've checked Ancestry on android too and still no problems.

Thank you all again
I have followed the links...
Microsoft Edge only allows one to chose one thing, one either allows all cookies, blocks all cookies or block only third party cookies.
It seems to have happened since the last windows update. I would restore to before that, but they will only do the same thing next time!

Yes, I have just been closing it but it's annoying!
I have had a reply from Ancestry who suggest that I am not using one of their preferred browsers. It's odd that I have been using the same browser for about 2 years and this has only just started happening.
Anyways, I'll just stick with the banner - I am not very technically minded and cannot - for the moment- be bothered to change all of my favourites etc etc. Especially as it doesn't happen at all if I use Ancestry via the software
Thanks for all you help
