Brancliffe Hall - where was it?
« on: Friday 19 October 18 12:22 BST (UK) »
Hi:  I'm attempting to sort out the Butterfield families of the Baildon area

I am related to Jonas Butterfield (son of Richard and Sarah) born 1800 and baptised at Wrose.

However, there is another Jonas Butterfield, born 1802, third son of John and Sarah (Brook).  He is baptised, as are his siblings, at St John the Evangelist in Baildon.  All the entries state that John (Labourer) and Sarah reside at Brancliffe Hall.

Does anyone have any idea where Brancliffe Hall is/was?  I've looked at nls maps and can't readily spot it.

I'd be grateful for any ideas.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
