Rodmersham burial - Rev. Thomas Edmondson
« on: Friday 19 October 18 12:47 BST (UK) »
Hi
Would anyone be able to look up the burial of Rev. Thomas Edmondson d 1797/1798. He was vicar at Rodmersham from abt 1776 to abt 1797/1798. I have found a memorial to him & his wife Jane in Threlkeld Cumbria where he was curate from abt 1748- 1776 (according to the Clergy database) but haven’t had any luck finding his death/burial records
Many thanks

The clergy database

http://db.theclergydatabase.org.uk/jsp/locations/DisplayLocation.jsp?locKey=323

gives a date of death 1/3/1798 (perhaps a date of post being vacant?)

Whilst The European Magazine, and London Review, Volume 32 page 357
says he died at Threlkeld 4 October 1797
