Burial ground name ?
« on: Friday 19 October 18 13:38 BST (UK) »
Hi,

I am looking for help in deciphering the name of the burial ground in the attached image. The record was issued in Providence RI, but the family had connections in Fall River MA. Thanks in advance.

There is a North Burial Ground in Providence.

and this site might come in handy down the road:

Cambridgeshire: Billups, Cropley; Derbyshire: Jenkinson, Gratton; Co Down: O'Rourke, Rodgers, Cunningham

I agree it seems to read as North Burial Ground (the elongated and looped 'g' from the 'England' above makes it harder to read). You can use this form to request a search:

Many thanks for the replies. Having looked at a closer image (zoomed) it does look like "North". I will use the enquiry link to see if that provides any further info. Unfortunately the find-a-grave and ri cemeteries link did not provide any records/info.

That's great news and encouraging for others who might have relatives in same burying ground.
