As an aside - strange that on 1911 census found by hallmark that John Brennan made his mark [witnessed by enumerator] but states he can read & write  ???


Maybe he couldn't find a pen??   ;D

There are at least two immigration records for Patrick Brennan, Ballinasloe to his sister.

1902 to sister (no name) 230 E 54th Street

1906 to Mrs Ross, 230 E 54th Street

There is no mention of sister Ellen by kiffagh.

There is an Ellen b 1868, of Kiltormer West,  with parents Patrick and Margaret but she is Hardiman.
