Ann Dimelow / Joseph Sanders or Saunders
« on: Friday 19 October 18 16:36 BST (UK) »
Hope you can help - I’m looking for the birth of Ann Dimelow which I think would be around 1770 ish as she married Joseph in March 1793 at the Holy Trinity in Chester. None of the marriage details give any reference to parents on either side, so I am stuck. Any ideas of other records I could look up? She had 3 children, the first Elizabeth in Tarvin, Cheshire, then two sons John and Joseph in Warrington. Thank you.

I can see acouple of possible baptisms

1764 Tarvin daughter of Thomas and Martha Dimeloe

!775 Great Budworth daughter of Moses Dimmilow.

So many differents ways to spell the surname.

Was Joseph a Joiner by trade? I ask because the Lancs opc site has the following baptisms in Warrington to a Joseph and Ann Sanders, Joseph's occ given as Joiner.
John 1796
Thomas 1798
Joseph 1801
James 1803
Jonathan 1805

Smith Tiplady Boulton Branthwaite King Miller Woolfall Bretherton Archer and many more

Thanks for the reply, yes, Joseph was a joiner on the 1841 census.  This may be his family with Ann dimelow.
