Her birth was registered as Martha Ann Mumby, mother’s maiden name Hunter, Sep qtr 1869 Hull 9d 199.

Perhaps “Charlotte” arose as a byname to distinguish her from her mother, also a Martha.

I have Charlotte Ann Mumby's Marriage Cert. She was married Dec 25th 1887 Holy Trinity Hull to my Grandfather Samuel Saunders. She was 18. I do not have a birth certificate but that would put her birth year at 1869. My great grandfather was also Samuel Saunders aand he was married to Martha Hunter. Samuel Saunders mgf  died in 1918 at the age of 53 as another member said. I have his death cert, however the story in the family is that Charlotte died in the Flu Pandemic 1917/1918 and my father Harold Saunders ended up in an orphanage but I can't find any evidence of her death

Hi again, Harold was born 12th August 1910 and baptised 31st August 1910 St Paul, Sculcoates Father Samuel occ Cooper Mother Charlotte address 2, Rodney Street, which was the address Martha A Saunders and Samuel were living at in 1911?

Yes her father was Benjamin married to Martha Hunter
