Ship Eugenia
« on: Sunday 21 October 18 15:28 BST (UK) »
Hi
I am looking for two female passengers who I believe arrived in Australia, probably Fremantle on the ship Eugenia, they are Elizabeth Ann Robinson and Emma Eaves or Eves, can anyone help?

Kind regards

Dragonfly

Hello and welcome also from me.

Do you mean the "Emma Eugenia"? There is this thread which has some resources noted already for the "Emma Eugenia" which arrived in 1858
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=787187.0

A notice of it's arrival doesn't have a passenger list but says only:
"22 married men, 21 married women, 5 single men, 117 single women, 7 boys, 11 girls and 3 infants"

Interesting item here about the passengers conduct during the voyage here too:

Hi Maddy
Thanks for your reply, yes I do mean the Emma Eugenia, when I was researching generally I came across RootChat for the first time, and there was a post from someone that said someone named Merlin had indicated that they had the passenger list for the Emma Eugenia arriving in Fremantle in the 1850's, very grateful for any help I can get with this topic.

Thanks heaps
Beth

Thanks also to Girl Guide and Millipede for your replies, the ladies came from England I think, the main reason I am looking for them is that Elizabeth married my Great Great Grandfather George Kershaw Brown and I am trying to develop a bit of a timeline to identify which George Brown (such a common name) millions of them, trying to find out how my George Kershaw Brown came to Australia, but all the lists contain George Brown's no George Kershaw Brown.
I found someone I think is him and I know that he arrived shortly before his future wife Elizabeth, he was probably travelling with a J Tomlinson. J Tomlinson marrried Emma Eves or Eaves.

Very grateful for any help I can get,
Beth

This is the thread you mention where Merlin has the passenger list
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=711575.0

It would probably be an idea to either post a request on that thread, or send Merlin a personal message (click on the message icon under Merlin's name to message).  :)
