« on: Monday 22 October 18 18:22 BST (UK) »
Not sure which county to post this in ???

I am looking for (ideally) a baptism for Jane Parker she married in St Andrew, Coniston, Lancashire on 2 Oct 1796 to Leonard Woodend their children were bap in Wolsingham Durham and that is where she died/bur in 1832 aged 58yrs old. So she was born c 1774.

Have you looked at genuki.org.uk under Coniston to see where the various Church records are held?

Do you have any proof she was born in Lancashire?

Could this be a possibility from FS?

Thanks CaroleW

I have no proof where she was born/bap as she died pre 1841 census which would/could have given me a clue.
The details you have given are what I have noted as potential and I am in the process of researching this Jane Parker to see if I can find if this one died or married someone else etc

The only other clue is the naming patterns of Leonard  and Janes children and that Janes parents are likely/do fit that.

At this moment in time, I know Jane and Leonard married in  Coniston Lancs and that she died/buried in Wolsingham Durham

I know that Parker and Woodend are surnames that seem very common in both Lancs and Durham and at the time I am researching it is very difficult to find 'connecting records' to prove anything.

Thank you I can discount 'that' Jane Parker and most  likely those parents as if that one died in 1778, 'my' Jane Parker would have been born c1774 and it is unlikely ( although I know not impossible) that they didn't have two daughters named Jane living at the same time
