Burial place Lincoln
« on: Wednesday 24 October 18 08:11 BST (UK) »
I have been searching for Leopold Henry Day and his wife  Mabel Day(Kidman's) burial places including the city of Lincoln Council but so far no joy.

Does anyone have any idea where they might have been buried.

Leopold died 31 March 1939  Bromhead Nursing Home Lincoln.

His wife Mabel died 24 Feb 1962 at 122 Boultham Park Road Lincoln.

Any information will be very much appreciated.

Ditto Mabel Day, buried North Collingham, 24 February 1962. Age 81.

Also a marriage of a Leopold Henry Day in 1936 at South Collingham. Their son?

Hello  jonw65,

Thank you. I am most grateful to you for finding Leopold and Mabel's burial place.I clicked on the view button and it gives you the transcribed register entry, which I am delighted with.

I was wondering if there might be a headstone - but 1939 being war time, it is doubtful.

Have contacted the  church where Leopold & Mabel Day were buried and, there is a headstone. The lady I contacted is going to see about getting a photo of it for me.

Thank you once again for finding their burial place, making it possible for me to contact the Church   :).
