Where is this?
« on: Wednesday 24 October 18 11:04 BST (UK) »
In 1891 at RG12; Piece: 1870; Folio: 94; Page: 5 I have the Nation Family.

The three youngest children were born, in what Ancestry interprets as "Hillfarrance, Somerset".
Later censuses include Wellington as birth place.

Anybody help?

Thanks Rosie.

I thought it was another Ancestry muck-up but you learn something new every day!

Hi Mike

Like you I thought it was a bad transcription as I've never heard of it & live in North Somerset - I've just looked at my book of Somerset Contiguous Parishes & can see it shares its boundaries with Heathfield, Norton Fitzwarren & Oake parishes - I hope this is of some help to you

All the very best

Phil
Worcestershire - Heeks, Maiden, Pinchin, Hartland, Tredwell, Holliday, Morton, Collins, Aldington, Saunders
Oxfordshire - Gomm, Hamblet, Austin, Winter,
Herefordshire - Lowe
