Genuki tells me you might find marriages before 1754 on the national library of wales site

Book marking as off to bed and will be away for a few days.

Phil, in the mean time can you name the children?
Esp the one born 1752 as I have a theory but havent time to go into it now.
Also do you know when Elizabeth died?

Trish :)

It’s of no help, but the obvious place, st Mary’s monmouth was extensively rebuilt from a dilapidated state 1736-1737.

there are baptisms & burials for that period & a very few marriages but not one for Stephen Jarret. They may have married in a parish that hasn't been transcribed. There was a burial 30 June 1737 for Elizabeth, base child of Elizabeth Jarret. I wonder if this was a daughter born before the marriage? Possibly not, she was baptised 10 June - should have checked before posting...
