« on: Wednesday 24 October 18 17:01 BST (UK) »
Looking for names and information about old cemeteries in or near Dailly that accepted burials from late 1600's to late 1700's.

I bought some publications of Monumental Inscriptions from Troon Ayrshire FHS - www.troonayrshirefhs.org.uk covering various areas in Ayrshire.  I found looking through them I found quite a few surnames in my family tree.  You could e-mail them they may be able to let you know if any of their publications are what you are looking for.

Yvonne19 -

Thanks for the information about the Troon Ayrshire FHS. I am still waiting for a response regarding my family surnames.

Have you looked at GEN UKI? Dailly page is on a care & maintenance basis.
Part of Dailly parish was put with Barr in mid 1600s.

There were other old chapels around.

Google Happy Haggis Ayrshire Cemeteries and you will get all the cemeteries in Ayrshire.
It is a great site.

The Scottish Association of Family History Societies at http://www.safhs.org.uk/burialgrounds.asp has a list of burial grounds in Scotland. If you click on the burial ground you ill get deatails of loction and when it was in use.
